The following Terms and Conditions and any other rules posted on our Site (collectively the "TAC") constitute an agreement between Meyerhoffer (“Meyerhoffer, Inc.”, "we", "our", "us") and you, the visitor, governing your access and use of all content and functionalities available at the Meyerhoffer website, related micro-sites accessed through the URL www.meyerhoffer.com, and any related domain names (collectively the "Site"). Those persons wishing to use our services must read and agree to be bound by our policies relating to those services. In particular, we draw your attention to our policies relating to the Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are under 18, you must let your parent or guardian know about Meyerhoffer's Privacy Policy before you use this Site for its services.

By visiting the Site, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in the TAC. We may modify the TAC from time to time and your continued use of this Site following such change shall signify your agreement to be bound by the modified TAC.


Meyerhoffer Inc. only uses the following payment method: PayPal®. All mayor credit cards are accepted by PayPal®. We cannot accept checks, cash, money orders or COD as payment.


Meyerhoffer Inc. may, in its sole discretion, choose to not process or to cancel your order in certain circumstances. This may occur, for example, when the product or service you wish to purchase is out of stock or has been mispriced, we suspect the request is fraudulent, or in other circumstances SUR FOR WRD deems appropriate in its sole discretion. Meyerhoffer also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take steps to verify your identity to process your order. Meyerhoffer will either not charge you or refund the charges for orders that we do not process or cancel.

Order Cancellations.

Meyerhoffer does not accept order cancellations for surfboard purchases. Clothing/Accessories: If notified via email (surf@meyerhoffer.com) before goods have been dispatched, Meyerhoffer can accommodate order cancellations. If items have been shipped, Meyerhoffer reserves the right to refuse order cancellation. Orders will need to be returned thougth normal return process.

Custom Board Orders.

Once Meyerhoffer has accepted your order, the surfboard will be manufactured in 4-8 weeks, possibly longer due to the custom specifications you have ordered.

Pricing Policy.

Prices shown on the Site are in US Dollars and are exclusive of taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice. There may be duties and taxes added to your package by the destination country. You will be responsible for these upon delivery and are not included in your order total.


Sales tax will only be charged on orders shipped to California. Please note that all non-customs related local taxes are the customer's responsibility. SUR FOR WRD is not responsible for reporting or paying additional local taxes to states, such as Use Tax. Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax will be calculated on the total merchandise value and shipping charges, and displayed on the Order Summary page.

International Customs Charges.

Some orders may incur a customs or import duty charge. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs and local taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs on arrival.


Meyerhoffer insures each surfboard purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you are not the receiver of your purchase (for example a gift) then the person who signs for the package confirms receipt and is accountable for the package. If there is damage upon arrival, please file a claim with Pilot Freight.

Shipping & Returns Policy:

Surfboards USA.

Surfboards are shipped for $150 USD within California, and $200 USD for the rest of the USA. We use Pilot Freight, with 2-5 day delivery estimates. This shipping cost includes packaging materials and labor. Surfboards are also available for free local pickup in Montara or Santa Cruz, California. We do not accept returns on surfboards. All of our boards are sent with insurance; please check your board when it arrives. File a claim with Pilot Freight if there has been any damage. Returns: We do not accept returns on surfboards.

Surfboards International.

Surfboards are shipped internationally using DHL. The cost for international shipping is a flat rate of $500 USD. This shipping cost only covers shipment to your address, it does not include customs/taxes/duty/etc. Because every country has different import customs/fees/taxes, we can not include this cost in our shipping cost. Please contact your local customs office to understand and get estimates of these costs. We do not accept returns on surfboards. All of our boards are sent with insurance; please check your board when it arrives. File a claim with DHL if there has been any damage. Returns: We do not accept returns on surfboards.

Clothing & Gear USA.

Products other than surfboards are sent via U.S. Postal Service for $10 USD, with 2-3 day delivery estimates. Returns: If you'd like to exchange unused and unwashed clothing, please mail it back within 14 days of purchase and we will send you the new size. To return unused items, please mail it back within 30 days of purchase and we will refund your purchase. We do not accept returns on fins.

Clothing & Gear International.

Products other than surfboards are sent via U.S. Postal Service for a $20 flat fee, with 7-10 day delivery estimates. Returns: We do not accept international returns.

Undelivered Packages.

We are not able to reship packages that are returned to us by the carrier. All undelivered packages will be processed as a return. Please take this into consideration when selecting your shipping address for an order.

Promotion Codes.

Promotion codes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided.

California Compliance

Meyerhoffer Inc. is committed to conducting business in a lawful, ethical and responsible manner. We expect our vendors to respect and adhere to the same business philosophy in the operation of their businesses. California law requires companies to disclose their efforts to address the concerns regarding slavery and human trafficking raised by the California Transparency in Supply Chain Act of 2010 (the "Act”). Every company or contractor in which we do business, are only selected based upon our business practice; under absolutely no circumstance will our firm hire companies or associates that use the form of prison labor, indentured labor, bonded labor, human trafficking or otherwise, in any course of their business conduct.


Meyerhoffer Inc. respects our visitors and their privacy. You are free to visit parts of our site anonymously (without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself), but you may be required to register in order to view certain portions of our site. Our company will only use the information you provide us to deliver services you specifically request. We promise not to sell, rent, or share registered visitor's information with other people or unaffiliated companies except under the following circumstances: We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety or any person, violations of meyerhoffer.com's Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law. We transfer information about you if meyerhoffer.com or Meyerhoffer Inc. is acquired by or merged with another company. You request or authorize it. The information is provided to help complete a transaction for you; or The information is provided to our agents, outside vendors or service providers to perform functions on our behalf such as analyzing data, providing marketing assitance, providing customer assistance, etc..

How we collect and use personal information: If you choose to register with Meyerhoffer.com, we collect your name, address, telephone number, email address, or other information you give us voluntarily. We automatically place your name on our email newsletter list so we can send you emails with information and special offers. Your personal information will be automatically updated every time you register with the same email address. Also, you can unsubscribe to our newsletters by clicking on the "unsubscribe" button at the bottom of a newsletter. We do not require you to provide any information which would identify you personally ("Personally Identifiable Information"), although you may submit such information if you choose to register on our site. If you send us an inquiry or request by e-mail, we may retain your e-mail address after we respond to your request or inquiry. We may use this e-mail address to contact you in the future with product or service information which we believe may be of interest to you.

We may gather usage information while you use the site and transfer the information to our servers as frequently as nightly. Our web servers track and collect the visitor's domain name and IP address, but not the email address. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent on the Site, pages viewed, and so on. We use this information to measure the use of our site and to improve the content of our site. To enhance your visit to our website, meyerhoffer.com has links to other sites on the internet that are owned and operated by third parties. Our site may contain links to our presence on various social media platforms. As we do not operate or control such platforms, this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions do not apply to your use of such platforms. In addition, you should be aware that personal information which you voluntarily include and transmit online in a publicly accessible blog, social network or other social media platform may be viewed and used by others. We are unable to control such uses of your personal information, and by using such services you assume the risk that the personal information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties.


Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that are transferred to your computer from websites you visit. These identifiers are maintained on your computer's hard drive and store information about you and your web browsing habits. Our Site does not use cookies to monitor our visitors viewing habits.

Device Identifiers

Device identifiers are files that are stored on your mobile device that identify your device. These identifiers are maintained on your mobile device and store information about you and your web browsing habits. Our Site does not use device identifiers to monitor our visitors viewing habits.

Child Privacy

We do not knowingly attempt to solicit or receive any information from children. Our terms and conditions of use require that any registration may only be made by those over the age of 18 and that any product or service purchases may only be made by those over the age of 18. By using our services, you are representing that you are an adult (at least 18 years of age) or have the permission from a parent or legal guardian to use our service. If we have reason to believe that information is being provided by a child under the age of 18, Meyerhoffer Inc. will not collect the information without parental consent or parent notification, which will include the opportunity for the parent to prevent the use of the information or to prevent the child's participation in the activity. Subcontractors and agents

Meyerhoffer.com will occasionally send our registered guest information to third-party subcontractors that work on our behalf to provide certain services. Examples include sending postal mailings and emails, removing repetitive information from our databases, analyzing data, and providing marketing assistance. These third parties do not have the right to use or distribute your personal information beyond what is necessary to assist us. They are contractually obligated to maintain confidentiality and security of your personal information and are restricted from using this information in any way not expressly authorized by meyerhoffer.com.

Beginning January 1, 2005, under California law, if you are a resident of California, you may make a written request to us about how we have shared your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement of between you and Meyerhoffer Inc. regarding the specific matters herein, and all prior agreements, letters, proposals, discussions, promotional material and other documents regarding the matters herein are superseded and merged into these Terms and Conditions. By visiting our site, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in our Terms and Conditions.
